Zanetta Tribble is a Detroit native, raised in San Pedro, California. At an early age, her stepmother instilled the love of storytelling and writing in her heart. Writing stories would later become a favorite pastime for Zanetta. As an adult, her personal life experiences and things she witnessed inspired her to write books for children.
A former high school educator and mentor, Zanetta is a producer, holistic health advocate, and author. She is also the founder and president of S.A.G.E. Sisterhood which serves as a platform for various means of healing in the community. Knowing that change begins with our youth and their education, Zanetta made a conscious decision to be part of the solution by writing books that are filled with history, culture and inspiration. Her books are fun and engaging and are dedicated to instilling strength, courage, and empowerment through learning principles of universal life lessons.
